Reece, I have long respected your knowledge and your analysis on transit matter and truly welcome this new development. I've even signed up to an annual subscription - and I keep those to a minimum! So, thanks for working out our next steps. I shall enjoy the journey with you, I am certain. Very best wishes.

I love the branding!! Also, audio versions of the posts are something I have wished for many times without ever suggesting it. Sometimes, I want to listen, but Substack's generated speech feature just doesn't do it for me. Looking forward to the future of The Transit Brief

Reece - Could your wife be the one who records them? If it would save you time, it would be better if someone else records them than if you record them.

Great news, love the direction ❤️ we’re fortunate to be living in the age of CWELCC, don’t know how families did it before!

Good luck, Reece. I’m looking forward to it. I shared to my network on LinkedIn.

I think it’s important and valuable for people who care about transit to actually try and hold transit projects to a high bar.

There’s no shortage of criticism of transit, but most of that criticism is not useful because it’s just coming from people who don’t like it and therefore don’t make interesting arguments. Conversely, too many transit fans are willing to cheerlead projects that clearly suck, which just makes the broader societal skepticism of transit worse.

So I’m glad to hear your stance, and very much looking forward to you challenging transit projects to actually be excellent. Cheers!

I wonder why the older blogposts are now paid, even if they used to be free.

I believe after 6 months they are converted - you’d need a paid sub to access the whole archive

I wonder why it even gets converted.
