Summer Holiday Notice.
An update on content publishing.
To My Readers and Supporters,
Given its the height of summer here in Canada, posts are likely to slow down over the rest of the month, there will probably be some, but almost certainly not weekly.
For example, mid-month I will be attending Canadian Civil Alive (the fifth year!), and while its a ton of fun, it will also be a write-off from a writing perspective.
When I set out to create The Transit Brief as an evolution of my previous blog the timing was not ideal. For the past month I’ve been working on some major life stuff (and likely will befor the rest of August) which has made writing posts every week a stressful challenge, particularly so given each post has taken 2-3 times as long to complete as those on Next Metro — the goal here is serious quality.
The upshot of this is once I’ve digested all of this change I should be able to come swinging into September and Fall with fortnightly posts, and with audio posts, and podcasts also becoming regular. There is so much happening on the transit file in Canada and globally, and I’m getting lots of ideas for posts, a new era of article abundance is on the horizon!
In the meantime, have a great August with your friends, family, and community.
Reece from The Transit Brief
